[PUBLIC - ANNOUNCED]
Federation Stabilizes

After an international announcement by Parliament today, various county governors and MPs have ceased their previous bickering and rhetoric in the House of Commons. Though there has yet to be responses from the established governments, it is expected contact will be re-established with the United Kingdom and likely the newly-established Sleepy Hollow.

In The Navy!

Due to the collapse of the United States, a number of U.S. Navy sailors seeking to escape and a group of British Columbian visitors recently acquired the former Kreigsmarine heavy cruiser, the Prinz Eugen. Word is the good Chancellor chuckled mightily when he heard of her being spirited from her docks; the ship, he says, will be a fine addition to the Federation's fleet.

Notice to the Chancellor - YOUR EYES ONLY

As of 9th May 1948, the Federation Security Intelligence Service was made aware that His Majesty King George VI of Canada, as well as Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon and Princess Elizabeth, have entered the country. Citing attempts by the Commonwealth of Britain to capture and/or imprison them for reasons unspecified (likely due to reformation of the Isles from United Kingdom to Commonwealth of Britain), they request a place within the Federation to live, remaining low-profile until such time as they are no longer hunted.

Approved. Keep them under security - quietly - and we'll make furter arrangements ASAP. -Chancellor Kallon

Ministry of the Interior - 10th May 1948

Premier & Chancellor,

Recovery proceeds apace. While infrastruture (primarily power) is still being expanded and fortified, road and rail are both back up to pre-fall standards. As per previous communiation, reconstruction and expansion work on Prince Rupert port will begin shortly.

NOTE: Shipyards are priority. The Army isn't a necessity for the moment, but the Navy's been champing at the bit to get their remaining fleet plan constructed. -Premier Novacek
