Soviet-French Diplomacy
The following was sent to the French foreign ministry from Moscow -
Soviet Foreign Ministry wrote:To whom it may concern,
Though the Soviet Union and France were not on amicable terms during the Great Patriotic War, it is our hope in Moscow that with a reformation of both of our governments we can come to new and mutually beneficial agreements. Soviet officials can meet with representatives of your nation in either France or the Soviet Union, and we will make Foreign Minister Evgeniy Leonivich Mihaylov for a meeting in either nation.

Diplomatic Message to Moscow
France acknowledges that our two nations have not always seen eye to eye, but does also acknowledge that without Russia's involvement and great sacrifices in the war, France might well still be occupied.
France is willing to meet with Foreign Minister Mihaylov in Paris at his earliest convenience. Foreign Minister Pierre Moreau will be awaiting Minister Mihaylov at our Foreign Ministry.
